You Tell Us What It Has Been Doing
Before a cover comes off, you tell us what changed. A head that drips, a room running warm, a noise on startup, a code you saw.
The Filter Screens Come Out
The front panel on every indoor head opens and the screens come out. We wash them in your sink. A torn screen gets replaced, not rinsed.
The Coil and the Blower Wheel Get Cleaned
This is the part a rinse cannot reach. The evaporator coil sits behind the filter and the blower wheel sits behind the coil. Both get cleaned.
The Drain Line Gets Flushed
Every head makes water in cooling mode. We clear the condensate line and pour water through to watch it run out. A slow line is why heads drip down a wall.
The Outdoor Unit Gets Washed and Opened
Leaves and grass come out of the condenser coil and we wash the fins from the inside out. Then the electrical panel opens for the contactor and the capacitor.
Gauges Go On and Numbers Get Written Down
Refrigerant gets measured, not eyeballed. We read pressures and line temperatures, check the charge against the manufacturer's number for that model, and record it.
Both Modes Run Before We Leave
We run heating, then cooling, and watch the head reverse. We check the temperature at the supply, confirm the compressor comes up, and reset your thermostat.
Rinsing a Filter and Cleaning the Machine Are Two Different Jobs
Rinse your filter screens every month. That job is yours and it does real work. It also stops at the screen. Everything behind it needs the covers off, and the refrigerant side needs a certified technician under the EPA's Section 608 rules.

Cottonwood in June, grass clippings all summer, leaves in November. We wash the condenser from the inside out so the dirt exits the way it came in.

Why a Ductless Tune-Up Is Priced Per Visit
A ductless system is not one machine. It is an outdoor unit plus every indoor head it feeds, and each head carries its own filter, coil, blower wheel, and drain. A four-head Charlestown house is four indoor cleanings, so the visit prices on the outdoor unit and the first head, then a set amount for every head after that.
